Logistics Specialist
Full-time | On-site | Homewood, AL
The Logistics Specialist serves as the primary driver of revenue for the company by managing their assigned accounts at a high level. Their primary function is building our brand by establishing strong relationships with their points of contact to ensure we are their provider of choice. This includes preparing and submitting bids, maintaining regular communication to identify opportunities, and consistent follow-up to ensure satisfaction. They are also responsible for maintaining current pricing and communicating all relevant account information to the Director of Operations.

Primary Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit bids at acceptable profit margins.
• Follow up on submitted bids.
• Maintain weekly communication with assigned accounts via phone and email.
• Handle incoming calls from accounts and carriers professionally.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of awarded moves.
• Maintain accurate pricing and account strategies to maximize profitability.
• Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work with carriers to expand opportunities for clients.
Qualifications
There are not any educational or experience requirements for this position. However, degrees in business administration and sales experience should assist you in achieving a higher level of success more quickly.
